Market-calibrated tender estimates for WA projects up to $5M — in days, not weeks.
Connected Projects provides AI-powered construction estimating services to Perth and WA builders. Send your plans and scope documents; our estimating engine drafts the take-off against current WA rates, an expert estimator reviews every line, and a tender-ready Word report plus full Excel trade take-off lands back with you in days.
What goes in. What comes out.
Outsourced estimating in WA usually means emailing a PDF and waiting weeks for a spreadsheet. Ours is a defined pipeline: documented inputs, AI-drafted take-off, expert review, and a consistent deliverable pack every time.
Plans & scope documents
Whatever you have at tender stage — we work from the documents, and flag what's missing rather than guessing.
- ✓ Architectural plans and drawings
- ✓ Scope of works or specification
- ✓ Tender addenda and schedules, if any
- ✓ Optional: Yembo AI scan data for existing buildings
Word estimate report + Excel workbook with full trade take-off
A branded estimate report — executive summary, trade-by-trade breakdown, assumptions and exclusions — plus an Excel workbook with the complete line-item take-off: quantities, rates, and trade sequencing you can interrogate cell by cell.
How our rates stay current.
Generic estimating bureaus price from national rate books that lag the market. Our engine was built for Western Australia from day one — the same rate logic that prices live insurance claim scopes and a government housing portfolio pilot prices your tender.
WA rate calibration
Trade rates are calibrated to the Western Australian market — not national averages, not east-coast databases. Pricing reflects what WA trades actually charge, which is exactly where generic rate books fall over in the Perth market.
Trade-specific logic banks
Each trade carries its own logic bank: minimum-callout thresholds so small packages aren't under-priced, and same-trade bundling across rooms and areas so you're not paying four plumber callouts where one mobilisation covers the job.
Dependency sequencing
The engine understands build order — demolition before rough-in, rough-in before linings, linings before fitoff. The take-off reflects a buildable sequence rather than a flat list of quantities, so nothing is priced out of context.
Built for the work WA builders actually tender.
One estimating engine, calibrated per vertical. Projects up to $5M across residential, commercial, and light industrial work — each project type with its own logic bank.
Renovations & extensions
Residential renovation and extension tenders — kitchens, bathrooms, second storeys, whole-of-home. Trade bundling and minimum-callout logic keep small-works pricing honest.
Commercial fitouts
Office, retail, and hospitality fitout estimating — partitions, services, finishes, and joinery priced trade by trade with dependency sequencing across the programme.
Light commercial & industrial
New light commercial builds, warehouse fit-ups, and industrial upgrades up to $5M — full trade take-off in Excel, executive summary in Word, ready for tender submission.
Insurance reinstatement
Reinstatement scopes and repair estimates for insurance work — the same engine that runs in production with one of Australia's largest insurance builders, delivering white-labelled claim scopes.
Insurance claim scoping →Government & SOR works
Schedule-of-rates pricing for government housing and maintenance contracts — including baseline-versus-inspection delta reporting proven on a 20-property WA government housing pilot.
SOR vacancy scoping →Single-trade packages
Need one trade priced, not the whole job? Trade-specific logic banks mean we can price a plumbing, electrical, or painting package on its own — an independent check on your riskiest line.
Tender closing soon?
Send the documents through and we'll confirm scope, exclusions, price, and a delivery date before any work starts.
Price your next tenderAI does the take-off. An estimator owns the number.
Every estimate runs the same pipeline — which is why the deliverables look the same on job one and job one hundred.
Brief us
Send plans and scope documents. We confirm what's in, what's out, the price, and the delivery date — in writing, before we start.
AI engine drafts
The estimating engine parses the documents, builds the trade take-off, applies WA-calibrated rates, and sequences the trades by dependency.
Expert estimator review
A qualified estimator reviews every line before delivery — quantities against plans, rates against market, assumptions made explicit.
Delivery & revisions
Branded Word report and Excel workbook delivered on the agreed date. Revision rounds are included, with every change formally tracked.
Per-project pricing, agreed up front.
No retainers required to start, no public price list, no surprises. Every project is quoted before work begins — you know the cost of the estimate before you commit, and commercial terms are agreed per engagement.
Most clients start with a scoped pilot: one real tender, priced end-to-end, so you can judge the deliverables against your own benchmark before sending more work. From there it's per-job pricing, and for builders with steady tender flow, a portfolio retainer.
If you're comparing outsourced estimating providers across WA, ask each one the same two questions: whose rates are the prices built on, and who reviews the take-off before it ships? Our answers are WA-calibrated rate logic and a qualified estimator on every job.
Scoped pilot
One real project, fixed price agreed up front. Judge the output on your own tender before committing to anything more.
Per-job pricing
Each estimate quoted individually based on project size and document quality. Single trades to full $5M tenders.
Portfolio retainer
For steady tender flow — agreed turnaround and commercial terms across your pipeline, set per engagement.

How accurate are AI-generated construction estimates?
The AI engine produces the first draft — quantities, trade line items, and rates calibrated to current Western Australian market pricing. A qualified estimator then reviews every line before anything is delivered: checking quantities against the plans, sanity-checking rates, and confirming assumptions. Nothing goes out on AI output alone. Where scope is ambiguous, we flag it as a stated assumption or a provisional sum rather than guessing, so you can see exactly what the number is built on.
What's excluded from an estimate?
Every estimate ships with an explicit assumptions and exclusions schedule. Typical exclusions are latent conditions, design and engineering fees, authority and headworks charges, and anything not visible in the plans or scope documents supplied — unless you ask us to allow for them. Because exclusions are itemised rather than buried, you can take the estimate straight into a tender submission with a clear qualifications list.
How do you handle provisional sums?
Where the design isn't resolved — an unselected finishes package, an unconfirmed services route, a demolition unknown — we carry a provisional sum rather than a hard price. Each provisional sum is itemised in the Excel workbook with the basis of the allowance stated, so it's auditable and easy to replace with a firm price once the information lands. We'd rather show you an honest provisional sum than hide risk inside a padded rate.
Are revision rounds included?
Yes. Revision rounds are included in every engagement, and our delivery platform tracks them formally — you review the estimate, request changes, and a revised issue comes back with every change logged. Scope additions that materially change the job, such as a second storey appearing mid-tender, are re-scoped and re-priced under the terms agreed up front.
How fast is the turnaround on a tender estimate?
Days, not weeks. Exact turnaround depends on project size and the quality of the documents supplied, and we agree a delivery date up front on every project. Because the AI engine produces the draft take-off and pricing, the expert estimator's time goes into review and judgement rather than data entry — which is where the speed comes from.
Do you price single trades?
Yes. The engine is built on trade-specific logic banks, so we can price a single trade package — plumbing only, electrical only, painting only — as readily as a whole project. Single-trade pricing suits builders who estimate in-house but want an independent check on one risky package, and subcontractors who want a tender prepared on their behalf. Per-project pricing scales down accordingly.
